RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN ASET UNIVERSITAS ADZKIA

Abstract

Adzkia University is a private higher education institution located in Padang City, West Sumatra. The development of information technology demands educational institutions to manage assets efficiently, transparently, and accountably. Adzkia University faces challenges in asset management due to the suboptimal implementation of the Asset Management Information System (SIMA), insufficient user training, and limitations in the existing system features. This research aims to design and build an integrated, web-based SIMA that is easily accessible and equipped with analytical features to support real-time asset tracking, planning, and monitoring. The research methods used include literature study, interviews, and observations with the research subject at Adzkia University Padang. The expected results are a system that can automate the asset management process, provide accurate and centralized data, and enhance operational efficiency and management decision-making. By involving interests in the planning, the SIMA developed is expected to enhance the level of effectiveness and sustainability of asset management within the Adzkia University environment.
