Abstract

Abstract This  study  aims to  design  a  web-based  library  information system  because  in  managing  borrowing  and returning books  and  making  reports  still  manually. Utilization  of  web-based  information  systems  can  minimize the  use  of  time,  because  the  process  has  been  done computerized.  The  analysis  in  this  study  uses  the  concept  of  SDLC  (Software  Development  Life  Cycle).  The system  design  is  made  used  a  modeling  language  that  using  UML  (Unified  Modeling  Language).  The  library information  system  is  built  using  the  PHP,  Javascript,  HTML,  CSS  programming  languages using the  MYSQL database as  well  as  blackbox  testing  and  beta  testing.  Based  on  the  results  of  the  study  that  the  designed information system can facilitate librarians in managing borrowing, returning and preparing reports
