Peer Review Process

All submitted papers will be evaluated first by the Editor-in-Chief to determine their suitability with ResiKom. Manuscripts that are considered suitable will be sent to at least two external peer reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The selection of peer reviewers is carried out by the editor handling the article (Editor-in-Chief or specialist editor). Authors are asked to suggest reviews, but the editor has the final choice. This journal runs a single-blind review process (reviewer names are denied to the authors). After completing all review reports, the editor in charge will make a decision (accept, make major revisions, minor revisions, or reject). Authors receive 1 to 3 weeks to prepare revisions, depending on the reviewer's comments. Each revision must be conveyed clearly, for example using colored fonts, so that it is easily seen by the editor and reviewers.

Authors must provide a response to reviewer comments that is pleasing to each change, for the benefit of the editor and reviewers. Revisions that have been made must be detailed by mentioning the exact line numbers and changes so that the editor can check the changes quickly. Revisions that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to the author with a request for correction and resubmission. Some articles may have two or three rounds of scrutiny. The average duration of submission to first decision is 6 weeks. The average duration of submission to final decision is 10 weeks. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision on acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final.
